The 1828 Trail Inn B & B overlooks the historic C & O Canal; the Western Maryland Rail Trail; and the Potomac River. The Inn is named for the beginning of the race between railroad and canal builders to open up commerce between Maryland and the Ohio River Valley.
Our Craftsman Style home offers a comfortable base for antiquing, bike riding, site seeing, or just relaxing on our wrap around porch or back deck.
Be greeted with afternoon refreshments, walk to our restaurants for dining and wake in the morning to our early morning coffee in the dining room before enjoying a full chef's choice breakfast to start the day.
