Allegany County Historical Society

The Allegany County Historical Society owns and operates three museum sites, the 1867 Gordon-Roberts House depicting the life of an upper middle class family in the late 1800s, the 1911 F. Brooke Whiting Museum, an American Bungelow featuring Asian collections, European decorative arts, and American furniture, late 1700s to 1900, and the 1901 Union Grove One-Room School offering the experience to schoolchildren for a day in a one-room school.
