Braitman, Kenny

Steel is Ken’s primary medium although he also works with brass and copper. He enjoys forging as well as using “found objects.” “Flow, energy, and form through transforming metal is a real thrill and to have others share that is even a greater thrill” says Kenny. He particulary enjoys sharing with others the thrill of working with metal, letting it speak to you, work with you in transforming to some form with the feel and energy you wish to create. Ken loves nature and his work is part of that process. He lives with his wife Annie, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 3 horses and 1 mule who all keep him in touch with nature. He lives on 25 acres with an 180 acre bird sanctuary behind him. “My artistic work is stimulated and inspired by the nature around me.”
