Inman, Cindy

Cindy recently moved to the Bedford, PA, area from Phoenix, AZ, where she had resided for twenty-four years. Originally from the Johnstown Area, she studied Commercial Art in PA, and Oil Painting at Bonds Studio in Scottsdale, AZ.

Cindy works with all mediums, including watercolor, pastel, charcoal, oil, acrylic, ink, glass painting, and thread. She also creates book illustrations.

Her passion for the arts and animals has led her on a path from early childhood, to the farm (that truly inspires her work) and art studio she now enjoys.

Highly regarded for her portraits of people and animals, she has a gift of capturing the life likeness of her subjects. Especially the eyes, which as she believes are “The window to the soul.”

Cindy works with several Potbelly Pig Sanctuaries throughout the US and Canada, in placement of neglected, abandoned potbelly pigs.

She is a member of:

  • The Bedford County Arts Council
  • The Chamber of Commerce
  • Downtown Bedford, Inc.
  • The Allegany Arts Council
  • The National Arabian Horse Association
  • The National Potbelly Pig Association
Also owner of Southwind Artistry Business/Studio, where she offers her artwork for sale, limited edition prints, commissioned custom art, custom embroidery, fur work and gifts.
