Rolling Mill Neighborhood Association

The Rolling Mill Neighborhood Association is the second oldest neighborhood watch and oldest continuous neighborhood association in Cumberland. The group promotes home ownership, crime reduction and beautification of the district.

The group participates in block parties and festivals, beautification and neighborhood cleanup initiatives, safe trick-or-treating and crime watch activities. It is a charter member of the Neighborhood Advisory Commission of Cumberland and a Community Betterment neighborhood group.

The organization meets monthly and distributes a quarterly newsletter to over 300 homes in the Rolling Mill District. Partnering groups include The YMCA, Cumberland Community Development, Cumberland City Police, Local Management Board, Got Hope? Initiative, Frostburg State University's Community Outreach Partnership Center, Americorps, Vista Program, Let's Beautify Cumberland!, The Allegany Arts Council, The Housing Authority of Cumberland and the Allegany County Health Department.
