There are seasonal activities such as Farmer's Markets, Friday After Five, Saturdays Live! at CanalPlace and Arts Walks to popular festivals like Heritage Days and DelFest. New events are being added all of the time!

The Shriners promote and actively support our one and only philanthropy - Shriners Hospitals for Children.
At Downtown Cumberland's Canal Place festival grounds, the Western Maryland Jaycees host the Tri-State Wing-Off, a daylong competition where wing-serving restaurants from MD, WV, and PA fry up thousands of chicken wings to be judged!
Brookedale Farms is an "agritainment" business. Our greenhouses open in the Spring and we have a corn maze each Fall. We have a playground and picnic tables, too. Fun family or group outing!
