Evergreen Summer Camps

This year, we've expanded our program to include additional art and science camps for older children and a food exploration camp. As always, we're offering sibling camper and multiple week discounts, and thanks to the generosity of area businesses and foundations, we have a limited number of scholarships for children enrolled in the F.A.R.M. (Free and Reduced Meals) program. Art in the Outdoors for Discoverers (Children entering Grades 4-6), JUN 19-23 from 9AM to 3PM, With the natural environment as their theme, campers explore their own creativity through writing, journaling, drawing, painting, mixed media,and sculpture. Fee is $150. Art in the Outdoors for Explorers (Children entering Grades 6-8), JUN 26-30 from 9AM to 3PM, Campers learn about environmental artists while channeling their creative spark through advanced writing, journaling, drawing, painting, mixed media, and more. Fee is $150. Grow It, Cook It Camp for Discoverers (Children entering Grades 4-6), JUL 10-14 from 9AM to 3PM, Campers start seeds, harvest fruits and veggies in our gardens and Hoop House (high tunnel greenhouse), and experiment with plants as they follow the connection from farm to table. Fee: $140. Science Camp for Discoverers (Children entering Grades 4-6), JUL 17-21 from 9AM to 3PM, Campers explore forests, fields, and wetlands by using cool science tools and wacky challenges to learn about plants and animals, and how we fit into this amazing planet. Fee: $130. Science Camp for Explorers(Children entering Grades 6-8), JUL 24-28 from 9AM to 3PM, Digging deeper into fun field studies of environments at Evergreen, campers use genuine science instruments to uncover some of the amazing species in our habitats. Fee: $130. Science Camp for Young Naturalists (Children entering Grades 1-3), JUL 31-AUG 4 from 9AM to 1PM:In this half-day camp, our youngest group of campers uncover the secrets of mini-beasts, plants with armor, and seek out stealth camouflage in our lush backyard habitats. Fee: $90.
