Workshop - Basic Meditation Techniques for Health and Clarity

Meditation is an important technique for quieting the mind and establishing an inner basis of clarity and well-being. It allows us to relax from within the core of our spirit, and better understand the processes that make up our life. Some meditative techniques aim at strengthening inner qualities that are important life forces while others aim at eliminating inner negativity and habitual patterns.The workshop is led by Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi, who was chosen at age 14 to study at the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics, the private school of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The free program takes place in the Lane University Center's Atkinson Room.
