Frostburg State University's Department of Music will present guitarist Patrick Sise in a Faculty Artist Series concert on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU's Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.Sise will perform works by Agustin Barrios, Fernando Sor, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Manuel de Falla, Federico Moreno-Torroba and J.S. BachSise, a lecturer in FSU's Department of Music, has performed solo and chamber recitals at the Peabody Institute, the Guitar Foundation of America's regional symposium, Cecil College's Milburn Stone Theatre and the Port Deposit Heritage Corporation concert series. Notable performances include the 2010 Port Deposit Heritage Corporation Holiday Concert and the 2009-2010 John E. Marlow Guitar Series, where he was a principal guitarist in the orchestra that performed Shingo Fujii's "Concerto de Los Angeles."He is an active member of the Creative Access, a student-run volunteer outreach performance program; site-coordinates for the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Baltimore City Veterans Hospital, where he performs monthly; and teaches weekly at the Music and Arts Center in Bowie, Md.
