After a stint in the US Army, while living in the Jersey shore beach town of Asbury Park, he came across a book by the vaudevillian magician Dunninger. That piqued his interest and he began his journey as an entertainer by performing at the now-defunct Palace Amusements and on the boardwalk. Later he became a street performer in the subways of New York City and Central Park. In time, he began performing at private parties. Over the years his repertoire grew, and he performed at schools, fairs, and festivals. In over 25 years as a magician, he has performed thousands of shows in every venue possible, including trade shows, circuses, nite clubs and theaters. His connection to the Cumberland area was as a 10-year-old "Fresh Air Fund" child. He stayed with a Mennonite family in nearby Grantsville. His daughter Lisa Maust lives in Frostburg with her husband Aaron. She regularly performs at the Embassy in different productions. This is Vince's premiere performance at Embassy Theatre. For reservations, call (240) 362-7183.
