Allegany County, the Mountain Side of Maryland, is excited to welcome back the Levitt Amp Cumberland Music Series, hosted by the CES at Frostburg State University, in downtown Cumberland’s Canal Place this summer, with events taking place every Thursday at 7:00 p.m., June 25 through August 27, 2026. All performances are family-friendly, free to the public, and all are invited to attend.
Enjoy the beautiful and mountainous setting of the Canal Place Festival Grounds. Located on the Potomac River at the intersection of the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath bike trails, it is the heart of the city of Cumberland, making for the perfect backdrop of a central gathering place for community and the arts.
Because the series is intended to bring communities together, each concert is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and non-alcoholic beverages. Food trucks will also be available on the lawn, and attendees are encouraged to patron restaurants and businesses in downtown Cumberland while they enjoy the music.

Parking will be available in the Canal Place parking lot, located in front of the train depot building, or street parking may be found in and around downtown Cumberland. Paid garage spaces are available in the City Center Parking Garage.
