Rocky Trail

Rocky Trail winds through mixed hardwood and pine forests, featuring rocky sections and moderate inclines that provide a steady, engaging workout. The trail surface alternates between packed dirt and exposed roots, with occasional boulder steps. Hikers will enjoy varied terrain and forest scenery, including stands of oak, hickory, and pine, with shaded areas and some open canopy. This trail offers a balanced mix of uphill and downhill stretches over its length.

How to Access:

Take Lakeside Loop Trail to Shortcut Trail. Shortcut Trail will Connect to Rocky Trail.

Rocky Trail can also be accessed at the Dogwood Camping Loop Trailhead.
